Every Flowers wine is made to express the land where it was farmed. Our coastal proximity and high-elevation vineyards give our wine its distinct minerality and fresh acidity. Farmed sustainably, fermented with 100% native yeast and crafted with minimal intervention in the cellar, Flowers Pinot Noir is a pure expression of the rugged and extreme Sonoma Coast.
Inviting and expressive aromas of bright red cherry, and raspberry are combined with hints of savory ground clove spice and graham cracker. Nuances of graphite and sea salt bring another dimension that come together with a bright acidity driving a long, lively finish.
With mild temperatures leading to a long growing season and a surprise-free harvest, the 2018 vintage can only be described as idyllic. Alternating spells of cool and warm weather during bloom led to varying berry sizes, perfect for developing complexity in Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. Morning fog, afternoon sunshine and a lack of heat spikes throughout the summer allowed for a long ripening period that developed fruit with excellent natural acidity and beautiful flavors.
Sourced from a small selection of family-owned vineyards on the Sonoma Coast as well as our Sea View Ridge estate. Each vineyard is carefully chosen for its farming practices, coastal in¬uence, and fruit standards.

“The 2018 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is pretty, aromatic and super-elegant. Crushed flowers, dried cherry, mint, sage, cedar and tobacco are some of the many notes that develop in the glass. The 2018 is perfumed, light on its feet and exquisitely beautiful—all qualities that make it a terrific choice for drinking over the next handful of years.”
