2007 Andreen-Gale Chardonnay
download PDFTasting Notes
Light golden-straw in color. Aromas are layered and complex; showing Honeydew melon, Meyer lemon, and citrus notes of tangerine with added depth of brioche and toasted oak. Flavors of Ajou pear and minerality broaden on the palate with a backbone of crisp acidity to compliment the finish. Enjoy now or cellar up to 4 years.
Vineyards
A selection of fruit sourced from our Camp Meeting Ridge vineyard plus additional vineyards in the coolest regions of the Sonoma Coast appellation. Old Wente from Camp Meeting Ridge is the predominate clone (more than 60%) with the balance being a mix of Dijon clones and mature Clone 4. This vintage provided exceptional quality fruit producing lively, elegant and feisty Chardonnay.
