2000 Camp Meeting Ridge Chardonnay
Tasting Notes
This vintage of our estate Chardonnay has a brooding, complex nose that evolves continuously as it sits in your glass. Ripe Chardonnay apple and pear fruit, with wispy hints of pain grille, give way to citrus blossom, mineral, and subtle yeasty notes as the wine opens up. The flavors echo the aromas and the texture is viscous and round, with a pleasantly smooth finish. We think this vintage of our Camp Meeting Ridge Chardonnay will provide excellent near-term drinking from Fall 2002 through 2004. Enjoy!
