1999 Perennial - Proprietal Red Wine Blend
Tasting Notes
Medium ruby red hues. A tapestry of ripe darker tree fruits, laced with floral tones and clove as well as a hint of cola are woven into this wine's aromas. A soft and unctuous palate with very mild tannins promises immediate accessibility. Good acid balance with some roast meat and earth tones show on the mid-palate. These qualities combined with a sweet, rich late palate of ripe fruit, berry, persimmon and plum indicate medium-term cellaring will also bring additional complexity as the flavors evolve. Enjoy now or hold for up to 18 months.
